The Firm

Arias, Abrego & Lopez is a Panamanian law firm founded in 2011, with a practice focused on corporate and transactional law, real estate, private wealth and regulatory matters. We advise companies, economic groups, individuals and families with assets in Panama and across the region.

The work is concentrated in companies that establish, expand or reorganize in Panama: regional groups, international companies with operations in the country, and growing family businesses. That kind of work requires continuity. The firm is built to sustain it.

Understanding the business is not a statement of style. It comes from the team's training in law and in finance, and from more than a decade working alongside real transactions in Panama. That is why the conversation begins with what is at stake in the business and moves on to the legal way to resolve it.

Our Approach and Way of Working

  • We know the business, not just the file

A legal matter never arrives on its own. Behind it there is an operation under way, a family, an estate that took years to build. Understanding that before giving an opinion is what separates a correct answer from a useful one.

  • The pace is set by the decision, not by the firm

Some answers lose their value if they arrive late. The calendar is set by the transaction, not by the firm's agenda.

  • The practice does not stop at the border

When a client's structure requires another jurisdiction, we establish and maintain it together with the registered agents in each place. Coordination across jurisdictions is ours to handle.
